Message from the President, BROWWA

It is with a deep sense of humility, responsibility, and pride that I assume the role of President, BROWWA, with effect from 01 January 2026.

BROWWA has, over the years, evolved into a strong and compassionate platform that reflects the spirit of service, resilience, and solidarity of Border Roads Organisation families. It has played a vital role in nurturing community bonds, empowering women, supporting children’s education, and extending care and compassion to families serving in the most challenging and remote regions of our nation.

As I take on this responsibility, I do so with immense respect for the dedicated efforts of my predecessors, whose vision and commitment have strengthened BROWWA’s foundations and expanded its outreach. Their work has ensured that BROWWA remains not merely an association, but a trusted support system and an enduring source of strength for our families.

In the coming tenure, my focus will be on consolidating existing welfare initiatives, enhancing skill development and self-reliance programmes, and deepening community engagement, while remaining sensitive to the evolving needs of our members. Together, we will strive to uphold BROWWA’s core values of care, inclusion, and empowerment, ensuring that no family feels unsupported or unheard.

I look forward to working closely with the Executive Committee, regional units, and all BROWWA members. With collective effort, mutual trust, and shared purpose, I am confident that we will continue to strengthen BROWWA’s meaningful contribution to the well-being of our extended BRO family.
